A partial list of notable currently installed equipment includes front disc brakes, 15-inch American Racing wheels, a front-mounted push bar, The Dukes of Hazzard-style decals, and a roll bar.
Dodge introduced the Charger for 1966, and the second-generation model launched for 1968 stood out with sportier-looking styling and, later in the production run, an available straight-6 engine. The second-generation Charger spawned several high-performance variants, including the aerodynamic Daytona, but it’s best remembered as General Lee in the television show The Dukes of Hazzard. Production ended after the 1970 model year, though the nameplate lives on and remains part of the Dodge range today.
Power comes from a 383-cubic-inch V8, rated at about 335 horsepower. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission.
